Welcome to My Garden is a series of medium format color photographs that portray the backyards of my family members, friends, and neighbors. I am interested in backyards because they are places where the random items of life tend to collect. My intention is to capture a still life of the various tools, trashcans, ladders, brooms, and other ordinary objects. I am interested in how the objects, their organization, color and form, together uncover the personality and character of their owners.
