Marian (Stasiorowski) Howard is a Lens-based Media Artist and Adjunct Professor. In 2014, she graduated from the Master of Fine Arts Program at the University of Delaware. Since then, she has taught introductory photography courses at Salem Community College and Saint Joseph’s University. She was the Spring 2016 recipient of the Adjunct Faculty Development Award at Saint Joseph’s University. In November 2016, she led a Polaroid emulsion lift workshop for the Photography Honors course at Rowan University. Prior to her graduate studies, Marian was employed for ten years as a school portrait photographer at Lifetouch National School Studios. During her employment, she won the Portrait Excellence Region 10 First Runner Up award in 2003 and the Underclass Portrait Excellence National Second Runner Up award in 2010. She has also had the opportunity to nationally exhibit her personal photography work in New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Minnesota, and Vermont. She is happy to include the birth of her son, Malcolm, in February 2017, to her list of accomplishments.
